Our firm tries to protect your children from being involved in your case.  We handle each case in an amicable and civil manner, if at all possible.  In some situations, clients can avoid going to Court.  But even if the Courts are involved, our firm can guide you through the legal system and take away many unnecessary worries.

Collaborative Law is a way to handle family law problems without going to Court.  It allows the people to bring up the issues that are important to them and, with the help of their collaborative attorneys, reach an amicable resolution.  It is a very healthy way to handle conflict, especially for people who must continue to co-parent their children after the problem is over.  We would love to give you more information about this option.

Julia is the founder and President of the Northwest Houston Collaborative Family Law Professionals and has been since 2006.  She has been trained as a Mediator since 2001.

Our law firm has been approved as a Continuing Education Provider by the Texas Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors, Texas State Board of Examiners of Marriage and Family Therapists, and Texas State Board of Social Worker Examiners.  We offer educational seminars for Licensed Professional Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Social Workers on a variety of topics.
